Now that the disabling rollercoaster of shame and dread of the last three weeks has slowed down a bit, and in the lull before "we" invade Syria, it seems like a timely opportunity to whack out a quick round-up of the best of the year so far. Don't know about you but it feels like 2003 has barely started, admittedly there's been the all-eclipsing current events to distract, but still, by this time
